Dragon’s Lair Trilogy Coming to Wii

Dragon’s Lair Trilogy Coming to Wii

Hmm…  I could have sworn there was a Dragon’s Lair game on the Wii.  Guess not.  Well, anyway, that won’t be the case for long, because Dragon’s Lair Trilogy is coming to Nintendo’s little money maker.  The game is set for a release sometime in the fall, though details are scarce at the moment.

To be quite honest, the collection doesn’t really feel like a trilogy per se.  This is probably because the included games are Dragon’s Lair, Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp, and Space Ace, which is an entirely different laserdisc title.  Strange that that game is taking precedence over a title like, oh, I don’t know, Dragon’s Lair 3D.  Although, umm, that game was pretty horrible in its own right.

The collection is set to land at a price of $30, which isn’t bad, and it will allow gamers to watch the animated scenes in Watch Mode.  Oh, Dirk the Daring, what console will you pop up in next?
