Capcom demonstrates first of Resident Evil 5 episodes

Japanese developer Capcom have demonstrated the first of the Resident Evil 5 downloadable episodes, entitled ,,Lost in Nightmares”. Hardcore RE fans may notice that Lost in Nightmares takes place in the same location as Resident Evil 1 and according to 1UP, Capcom have decided to return to the origins of the series.

The player is put in the shoes of Chris Redfield who is helped by his partner Jill Valentine and have to survive in Spencer’s mansion. 1UP also claims that the downloadable episodes feels like a HD version of Resident Evil 1, rather than deliver the same setting as RE5 or RE4. The gameplay has had a major shift and its more survival horror than third person shooter.

Lost in Nightmares is set for release on February 17 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
