Brand New In-Game Heavy Rain Trailer

Alone this trailer is very creepy and more than enough to get anyone excited for the game, but the fact that it’s made up entirely of in-game footage makes it even more amazing.  In case you’re unfamiliar with the game’s plot, it all revolves around a serial killer called the Origami Killer.  There are several playable characters, each of their stories dealing with finding the killer for various reasons ranging from a man on revenge to a detective doing his job.  Unlike really any other game on the market Heavy Rain is trying to create a movie-like experience where you have complete control over where the story goes.  This is also quite possibly one of the best looking games this generation, which is really saying something with titles like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 as competition.  The following trailer shows a man looking for his son when he discovers he’ll have to do something to be able to save his child.  But enough talk, check out the video below:

Heavy Rain releases on the PS3 on February 23rd.
