The NPD Group has released the results for software sales in May 2010 and I can’t say I’m surprised. Red Dead Redemption is crushing the competition with over 1.5 million copies sold last month. Super Mario Galaxy 2 also made a strong debut with over half a million units sold in less than a week, followed by UFC 2010: Undisputed, Alan Wake, Pokemon Soul Silver and Skate 3. No surprises on the hardware front either, Nintendo is still paving the way with the DS and the Wii. Next is Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and last, but not least comes Sony with the PS3 and the PSP.
