Sony has today admitted that they will never be able to — or at least have no intention — spend as much money as Microsoft does to push the Xbox 360 on their Playstation 3.
This news comes in just days after Microsoft announced that their spending the most money they’ve ever spent on a single game, Halo: Reach.
With this being said, Sony’s UK team is preparing to spend over £750,000 on marketing the Playstation Move.
When Peter Dille, senior vice president of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America, was asked whether or not Sony could spend as much money as Microsoft was on Kinect marketing, Mr. Dille said:
“I don’t think we’ll ever outspend Microsoft.”
