At a Gamescom event in Germany today, the juggernaut of interactive storytelling Bioware, announced that its Sci-fi TPS “Mass Effect 2“, will be coming to the PS3. Sadly though, PS3 owners will have to wait until the game has been out for the Xbox 360 about a year before they can get their hands on the game, but that shouldn’t be a problem. Because this game is worth the wait, due to amazing reviews and the international following this game and Bioware has received.
Chances are, since Mass effect 2 is porting its way to the PS3, so will Mass Effect 3, but no word on whether the game will come out for both consoles simultaneously, or if the PS3 version will be delayed. But PS3 owners will have their hands full with Mass Effect 2 when it makes its debut on the PS3 in January 2011.

Hmm, the only downside is that PS3 gamers wouldn’t know the story unless they either played Mass Effect on PC or on Xbox 360..
but eventually, they might release the trilogy (after the third mass effect comes out) for PS3, 360, and PC, in a special edition type thing
No, they won’t. Microsoft owns the publishing rights to Mass Effect 1, they won’t let EA and BioWare release it on a Sony platform.
