Dragon Age Origins: Awakening is an expansion pack, much like Shivering Isles was for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It will be much bigger than typical DLC, but will not posses the length of a full-blown game. The Children trailer shows your character in what appears to be a dungeon full of larva spiders straight out of Dead Space. The video opens with the lines, “I will be leaving you to the children” and then all hell breaks loose as the main character is attacked by disgusting looking bug creatures. It’s not much, but it’s good to see something; BioWare has been on a roll, and I’m sure this expansion will be no different. Dragon Age Origins: Awakening hits store shelves on 3-16-10.
