Paradox Interactive has released another developer interview from Paradox Interactive Convention 2010. The convention was held in Stockholm, Sweden and was only open to members of the press and Paradox Interactive partners. The interview features Mattias Lilja, Producer at Paradox Interactive, where he reveals additional information about the upcoming expansion to Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim.
Majesty 2: Kingmaker is the first expansion for the Majesty 2 series, and it is being devleoped by 1C:InoCo. The expansion is due for release in Quarter 1 of 2010.
After an overwhelmingly positive response from fans after the release of Majesty 2, Lilja explains how the decision to make Majesty 2: Kingmaker was a reward for their loyalty, and also a chance to build upon and improve the original game. Containing a brand new single-player campaign consisting of eight missions, players will go up against Lord Blackviper and his army of evil goblins. Also being release just prior to the expansion is the map editor allowing fans to build their own levels and missions.
Commenting on how fans are likely to receive Majesty 2: Kingmaker, Lilja commented that “If you liked the first game, I think you’re going to love this one!”
