Frogster have today announced that the players of their popular MMORPG, Runes of Magic, has raised 40,000 Euroes for Save The Children in Germany.
“Thanks to the great efforts of our Runes of Magic community, Frogster has donated 40,000 Euros to the international charity organization Save the Children.
Between 20 November 2009 and 28 December 2009, players bought almost 12,500 “Moa’s Charity Steed for Save the Children”. Donating three Euros for each sold mount, our users raised 40,000 Euros (more than $52,000) for the good cause.
Save the Children is active protecting children’s rights all over the world and helps children in need of medical attention and provides quality education and shelter from violence. Furthermore Save the Children supports children and their families in cases of natural disasters like right now in Haiti.
