Valve’s highly anticipated game, Portal 2, has appeared on EA’s official website with an option to pre-order the game.
The game, which hasn’t even been given a release date, has been found on EA.com with pricing and a pre-order option.
With the game appearing on EA’s website, this could mean that EA will be publishing the game, but I’m going to wait until further information is released before assuming anything. (Although, with the game being on EA’s website, one would say that it’s obvious)
As for the release date section, all that is there is “TBA 2010″, meaning “To Be Announced 2010″.
Also, it states that Valve is the developer of the game, but the “Publisher” section is nowhere to be found.
In the pre-order box it gives three choices:
- Xbox 360- $59.95
- Mac – $49.95
- PC – $49.95
No Playstation 3 version mentioned. Which is weird considering that people were jumping around on the PS3 forums saying something along the lines of: ” Someone at Valve confirmed Portal 2 on PS3!”
Please remember that this information has only just come to light, and as such, we must wait for further information on this before making assumptions. We’ll follow this developing story and will post any updates the second they hit. To view the web page for yourself, click here.
