The God of War is alive and well, and the next game will be developed for the PSP. Tentatively dated for release later this year, God of War: Ghost of Sparta will pick up in where the last game left off.
Kratos will soon confront the ghosts of his past than face new ones, and the challenges he will face will moreso be how developer Ready at Dawn, will be pushing the limits of the technology.
“Graphically the guys are pushing the PSP to the limits with state-of-the-art visual technologies, higher quality environments and greater depth of scale which really help deliver on those huge crazy boss fights,” states SCEE product manager Richard Yap.
There will be a new weapon system, magical abilities and the list goes on, according to Yap.
And SCEA’s vice president Scott Steinberg couldn’t be happier.
“This new adventure will showcase Kratos on PSP like never before in an experience that fans and newcomers can enjoy on the go, anytime, anywhere,” says Steinberg.
More information will be annnounced come in next month’s E3.
