Final Fantasy XIII Composer Leaves Square Enix

Square Enix Music Online have reported that the Final Fantasy XIII composer, Masashi Hamauzu, has left Square Enix after a 15 year career with the company. Currently there is no information on what the composer will be moving on to next.

During those years Hamauzu has worked on the soundtracks for, SaGa Frontier II, Unlimited Saga and Final Fantasy X. The Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack is to be released in Japan on January 27.

The report has also suggested that further Square Enix composers will be leaving the team in the coming months.
