“dun, dun dundundun, dun dundun….yeah, it doesn’t work out quite as well when typing it.”
Today the demo for Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes has been made available on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
“Star Wars® The Clone Wars™: Republic Heroes™ lets you be the hero of the Clone Wars, fighting side-by-side with a friend. An all-new interactive story bridges the gap between Seasons 1 and 2 of the hugely popular TV show, and takes you on a multi-faceted adventure to stop a mysterious Techno Assassin’s destructive plot.”
“Live the Clone Wars and play as your favorite Jedi and Clone Trooper in a brand-new story. Leap and slice your way through enemy lines with the acrobatic power of a Jedi. Wield an arsenal of elite Clone Trooper weapons — from rocket launchers to thermal detonators. Fight alongside your friend on any mission, at any time with drop-in/drop-out co-op gameplay.”
The trailer can be viewed from the link above.

Game doesnt look that great, kind of an old school not graphics intensive look… did they intend to make it like that?
I think they tried to make the graphics look like the recent animated version of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
I want Battlefront 3, BF2 was one of my favourite ps2 games (after Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2) and it deserves a sequel.
The greatest Star Wars game of all time still remains Star Wars: KOTOR. If you haven’t played it, suicide. No seriously – it’s that good. Most Star Wars games are cookie cutter. I sure hope that Republic Heroes isn’t.. I loved The Clone Wars.
PS: Darth Revan shall rise!
yeah KOTR was the best. especially when your evil and you make that wookie strangle his best friend. ehehehehe. man i love kotr. the old republic looks kinda like kotr in ways though
Considering it’s based on the KOTOR universe, it should. But i don’t like what Bioware did to the story, not telling us what happened to Revan when he went outside the Outer Rim, looking for the Sith. I still don’t like the idea of turning my favorite RPG into an MMO, but i’ll try the final result.
