Halo 3: ODST: Gameplay From The Actual Game

“Yes, those marines are speaking French.”

Halo 3: ODST, probably one of the most awaited games on the gaming calendar this year, was recently “leaked” in France, not leaked in terms of gameplay footage, but in terms of actual copies of the game being accidentally sold, or so they say it was accidental.

So, with those few lucky I’m totally jealous French people out there who have managed to take advantage over the mix up of dates have most probably already completed the game, if not almost obtained all achievements.

One French guy/gal has decided to record them self playing the game, to show off. To view the two videos, click HERE.

Okay, I’ve assumed that you’ve all come back so let’s run through some parts.

Something I noticed about in the video was that every time the player killed an enemy with a shot to the head, a little box on the right side of the screen, this is possibly an achievement tracker, a lot like the one in Gears of War 2, wee? Gears of War 2

Another thing about the video is that I didn’t see any new weapons, which I was expecting, but I think that these videos should end the rumours of new weapons entering the Halo franchise.

Also I’ve realised that the game has an (obvious) shine in graphics, the little parts where the screen is shaking around in first-person is quite stunning.

The game’s OFFICIAL release is¬†September 22, 2009.
