Left 4 Dead 2, 2 Million, 2 weeks!

Left 4 Dead 2, 2 Million, 2 weeks!

While there was a lot of controversy over whether Valve should have released Left 4 Dead 2 only a year after its predecessor, it seems as if Valve may have made the right choice.  It’s only been two weeks since we began slay zombies and Valve has already reached the 2 million copies sold mark with retailers.  Those numbers don’t include the amount of copies sold on Steam.

With that news, some Left 4 Dead 2 DLC is sure to come. Valve’s Vice President of Marketing, Doug Lombardi made these comments, “Left 4 Dead 2 is off to a great start with strong support at retail and great reviews from the press.  Meanwhile the title has already been played by over 1 million Xbox LIVE Gold account holders, and news regarding L4D2 DLC 1 is coming very soon.”

Needless to say we are all very excited about what Valve will bring to the table, and it’s sure to be great.  With a background of great games and great extras, I’m sure your “zombie annihilation fun” will not end anytime soon.
