Square Enix Announces Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes – Encore

Today, Square Enix announced the release of Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes – Encore. The game will be available for both the Iphone and Ipod Touch and can be bought in the Itunes store for$ 9.99. There is also a free lite version that users can try out in the store. The full game carries around 20 hours of gameplay.

The game allows you to change your Iphone or Ipod Touch songs into “Tune Troopers”. Tune Troops are units can you can control in battle. The game offers a compelling storyline and intelligent battle system, both of which come to life with the help of your own music. The game offers a rare opportunity to enjoy a rich RPG experience on the iPhone/iPod touch.

Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes – Encore is a remake of the Ipod version, which was released in 2008. The new game uses touch screen control and includes new missions and characters.

All of the game’s gameplay elements relate to the player’s music collection. “Story Mode” depicts the epic adventure players will embark on as a young Song Summoner named Ziggy deceives the Mechanical Militia.
