Earlier this morning Nintendo updated their japanese website with new information on the upcoming DSi, dubbed Nintendo DSi LL.
The system will release in Japan for 20,000 yen ($220). The LL will have a larger, 4.2 inch screen. The new edition of the console will also get a better battery life. According to Nintendo the new LL will last 13 to 17 hours(the previous battery could only last from 9 to 14 hours). The now weighs at 314 grams (100 more than the DSi) and measures 161mm x 91.4mm x 21.2mm. The system will also come packed with a full sized pen. The new DSi will be released in three colors: Natural White, Dark Brown, and Wine Red.

Another one? Well, this one has a larger screen to it, so that’s a good upside, but the fact is is that this is the fourth version of the DS since the initial release.
Yeah that was quick after the DSi, the weight thing might be an issue, although 100 grams doesn’t sound like much its still about +50% heavier then the original.
Nah, the original was around 300 grams, so this is a little heavier than the original model. The DS Lite and DSi always felt far too flimsy to me, felt like you could easily break it.
Annoyed because I’ve just bought the DSi, I should have waited!
Already a new DSi XD
It’s not long time since they released the DSi.. But well, They also released the DS Lite pretty fast after they released the DS, so it’s maybe how they do it
Darn I just bought my dsi!!!!!!
@mr.ford DSi LL wont be available in canada and usa, atleast no release date for it as far as I know
