Nintendo has announced the release date and price for the upcoming Wii Fit Plus. This continuation of the popular fitness game Wii Fit will be available in stores on October 4 (North America).
Wii Fit Plus is to serve as an enhanced version of the original Wii Fit, which Nintendo will be phasing out. It will offer more games and exercises, and players will also be able to customize their own workouts.
The standalone version (disc only) of Wii Fit Plus will retail at $19.99 and can be used with the original Wii Fit balance board. The Wii Fit Plus and balance board bundle will retail at $99.99.
