Lego Rockband with David Bowie

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and MTV Games today revealed that LEGO® Rock Band™ will feature the likeness of David Bowie, pop music icon and best-selling music artist, as a LEGO minifigure.

Fans can play as Bowie while singing his song “Let’s Dance,” which will be included in the play list.

LEGO Rock Band puts the power of Rock into the hands of tweens, teens, families and gamers of all ages as they go on a wild journey to rock stardom to “Build a Band and Rock the Universe.”  The game will be released for Nintendo DS, Wii, ps3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009.  Other songs on the playlist include:

  1. yeah not actually sure whats the deal with the lego version… it seems pretty much the same but with lego graphics…. actually from the screens the frets look even harder to see then the normal game.

  2. What? No Bing Crosby to sing along with Bowie on The Little Drummer Boy? I’m not sure this one is for me, but Bowie and Crosby will always be an unexpected guilty pleasure when it comes to classics away from games.

  3. I honestly don’t see any point of buying this game. It’s basically Rock Band but this time with Lego graphics.

    And besides, you don’t really get to look at what’s going on seeing as you’re too focused on hitting the notes.

  4. Honestly never saw it coming though. First we had Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman, and I think there’s a Lego Spider-Man somewhere (or at least in the works).
