Played Halo 3: ODST? Remember your squad leader Buck (voiced by the uber-awesome Nathan Fillion)? Well, in a recent interview with G4, Bungie unveiled some interesting news for Halo fans to muse over, that Buck will be returning in “some way shape or form” in the upcoming Halo: Reach. As a fan of the character and the actor who portrays him, this is good news to me, because now I know there will be at least on interesting character in Reach. I’m not taking a dig at the Halo series, for its a franchise I’ve invested many hours into, but the Halo games aren’t necessarily known for their amazing character development.
So will he be a hologram? A character in a flashback? Who knows? Maybe some light will be shed on the situation when the first gameplay video for the game is debuted at the Spike Video Game Awards this Saturday. Halo: Reach is currently scheduled for a Fall 2010 release for the Xbox 360.
