GOG.com is 1!

GOG.com, the site dedicated to distributing classic, out of print games has reached it’s first birthday.  This also gives me a great opportunity to bring your attention to this service.

For a small fee you can download a classic from yesteryear (such as Descent, Fallout and Duke Nukem 3D as well as many more) safe in the knowledge that it will be fully compatible with the latest operating systems (so no messing around with DOSbox).

To celebrate their birthday they are offering 2 for 1 on all of their range of Interplay games.  So you might want to check out Sacrifice and Fallout 2 (just my suggestion) and only pay for one!

Hurry though because the offer ends in about 6 days time.  What are you waiting for get over there right now.

All of the games that are available GOG.com run on modern operating systems such as XP and Vista.

Also I can’t seem to find any of the C&C games anywhere on the site anyway.
