Sony and Sony Santa Monica have announced and revealed details about the ultimate edition of the sequel to their megahit, God of War. Here is an overview of what you can expect in the ultimate edition:
- Sculpture of the box of Pandora
- Limited edition artbook with exclusive art, content and interviews
- Exclusive digital content, available through the PSN
- God of War Combat Arena with exclusive terrains and 7 challenges
- Additional skin for Kratos – Dominus
- A documentary about the making of the God of War games
- God of War Trilogy soundtrack – a digital music cd
- God of War: Blood and Metal EP – digital heavy metal album insipired by God of War
In addition, the people that pre-ordered the game through Amazon, GameStop or GameCrazy will receive earlier access to the demo of the game and some bonuses. God of War III is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2010.

pretty cool actually, lots more cool stuff in this special/ultimate edition then some of the other money grabs out there. The box and art book will be definitely be cool to check out.
