Some of you may have been wondering about when we’d see another Ghost Recon title. Since the series launched with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon in 2001, Red Storm entertainment managed to consistantly release new additions to the franchise until 2007’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. From then things have been a little quiet for the series, with no news of upcoming titles being announced.
Now there seems to be a hint of a future title, with Ubisoft trademarking the name “Ghost Recon Future Soldier”. The mark covers video games so there is a high probability of an announcement next year.
Unfortunately, there is very little information on this latest incite into the series other than what’s on the USPTO’s website.
