Realizing how hungry we are for some gory(and smexy) RPG adventures, Bioware have decided to release the character generator earlier. That way we will be able to create our hero(/ine) and export it for when the game gets released(November 6). This has only been done a few times before and game developers usually do it to brag about how advanced their product’s character generator is. Of course, there are a few downsides to this. First, the character generator weights about 320mb for your hard drive, which, lately has been ridden with all sorts of porn. Seconds – it’ll take you half an hour at most to finish your character. 3 hours if you’re a geek. I don’t know about you, but i’ll just keep waiting.. The generator will be released around 13 October.

Ah, well, not for me, I’m afraid. I’ve had too much gore in the real world and when I hit the game systems, I want escapism, not more of the same. I realize others like it, but I’m just not one of those people.
A game’s atmosphere is one of the most important components. Especially for role playing. And who says your not escaping into a virtual world. The atmosphere is exactly what makes you feel more and more into it. Then it just depends on what you like and dislike. The gore in Dragon Age, is an important part of the game’s story and feeling. Just because a story relies on a rough world, filled with violence, doesn’t mean it’s badly told or “more of the same”.
This game is based on the novel by GRR Martin: A Song of Ice and Fire, isn’t it. I can’t wait for it to release. I hope its better than Oblivion. I still think Oblivion was the best RPG that ever came out. And, yeah , I love gore in the virtual world.
SiddFisher, are you new to RPG’s?
