Dante’s Inferno Developer Diary: Violence

So EA’s studio Visceral Games (previously EA Redwood Shores, the dudes behind Dead Space) is working on adapting Inferno, the first part of Dante’s Divine Comedy, an epic poem.  In it there are nine circles of hell, each representing a specific sin, and in the game those sins come to life through the environments and enemies you must face.  The sins range from the seven deadly sins we’re all familiar with (sloth, gluttony, wrath, and the like) to Violence, which is the seventh circle.  Well, here’s the developers talking about the seventh circle, which seems to be shaping up quite nicely.  But don’t take my word on it, check it out below:

Roads of burning sand, raining fire, rivers of boiling blood, needless to say I’ll be in line on day one for this game.
