Assassin’s Creed 2 Game Breaking Glitch?

Gaming Site CVG has received multiple emails from readers claiming that they’ve experienced a game-ruining glitch in Assassin’s Creed 2.

According to the emails, people who save their games and turn off their consoles after completing Chapter 11 run the risk of being trapped in their hideouts after starting the game back up.

“I, like many others, seem to be getting a glitch after finishing sequence 11. After the save I quit out of the game. After I returned the next day it loads the hideout level and nothing happens. You just walk about with nobody there.”

Obviously this isn’t happening to everyone, as we would have heard about it some time ago. Still, it seems to be real and not just exclusive to a few people, so I’d be careful. The article doesn’t say which console this happens to, so I’d take caution no matter what you’re playing the game on.

CVG has contacted Ubisoft but have yet to receive a reply. We’ll be sure to let you know when Ubisoft comments on the issue.

Have any of our readers or writers experienced this glitch? Could you offer up an details that might be helpful to others?
