Recently, Grasshoper Manufacture put a smile on a few faces when they announced that a visually updated version of the original No More Heroes would be making its way to both the 360 and the PS3. The game is scheduled for release in Japan in February 2010.
However, there is some bad news. Ubisoft announced that they will not be publishing either of these ports, and no explanations were given for this decision. This isn’t to say the games are no longer going to be released but it does mean that a new publisher will need to be found.
Ubisoft will still be publiishing the Wii sequal, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, which is due for release in January 2010.
