“I have a bad feeling about this..”

With the release of Modern Warfare 2 just over the hill, many fans of the game have been trying to find out as much as possible about the game so they can get an idea of what to expect. This recent discovery has left many Modern Warfare 2 fans in disbelief.

Modern Warfare 2 still includes low-resolution textures, such as the walls:

Infinity Ward and Activision are yet to comment on this┬ádiscovery, but it’s certainly made me think different of the game.

  1. Not that big a deal, lower resolution graphics = less space taken up by graphics = more space available for everything else. High-res graphics tend to cause a lot of issues if there are a lot of things going on, especially if the environment is destroyable.

Still, its not been released yet, they have more than enough time to sharpen them up and release the game. Mechanic perfection takes absolute priority in game development, cause a glitchy game, no matter how good it looks, gets bitched out something fierce.

  2. With all the hype this game made it’ll either be the greatest FPS ever released or it’ll fail miserabl(same thing happened to Oblivion, F.E.A.R 2 and a ton of other games).

  3. Mhm, too much hype is a bad thing. You can say “Blow up zombies and cure cancer!” and you’ll only succeed at one of those, since there were no zombies, and people wanted the zombies. Disappointment settles in, people gripe.

  4. I dont know, its been a lot of hype but recent news and screens have made me less interested in the actual game. I do believe that it should have good higher res graphics to succeed otherwise your just playing the same game as before with different maps and guns.
