Capcom Classics Coming to Playstation Store

Capcom Classics Coming to Playstation Store

With the dull summer game market (as usual), what is there is to do to fill in the time until the huge, well… uh… moderate game lineup coming this fall? Replay some old classics of course! Capcom has fulfilled everyone’s promise of releasing more of their games to PSN, and included are some the companies finest. Most notably, Resident Evil 2, which has been included in many top ten PSX lists along with Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII. Also releasing are Capcom’s other survival horror classics like Dino Crisis and Resident Evil 3, some PSP fighting action with Darkstalkers, Powerstone and Street Fighter Alpha 3, and of course some of the Blue Bomber’s outings with Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X. Now if only other game companies would be this dedicated to releasing their back catalogs, we wouldn’t even need new games! Uhahahaha! Wwwait… scratch that last one.

Capcom has not specified a date, but said they will be released soon. Expect pricing relative to other releases. 5.99 and 9.99 for PSX, and 19.99 for PSP titles.

Here is the list of all the games Capcom has annouced

Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (UMD Legacy)
Mega Man Powered Up (UMD Legacy)
Dino Crisis (PlayStation Legacy)
Power Stone Collection (UMD Legacy)
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (UMD Legacy)
Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation Legacy)
