Bethesda Grabs Up Rights to Publish RAGE

Is it just me or does Bethesda have some sort of affinity with a post-apocalyptic world?  It would seem so seeing as how they just picked up rights to publish id Software’s game RAGE which is currently in development and set to release in 2010.  This morning the statement was released by ZeniMax Media Inc., who is the parent company of both Bethesda Softworks and id Software.  Electronic Arts dropped the publishing rights that they had earlier announced they had at E3, and we can only imagine that they dropped it due to the monetary strain that EA stated that they have had recently.  According to ZeniMax this change of plans will not change the development of the game, and we can still expect the same thing from id.
