WoW: Faction Changing Service Is Available

Blizzard recently announced that they were going to add a little feature called the “Faction Change” to their surprisingly popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. The announcement didn’t contain a release date nor did it say if this feature was going to cost.

Well, out of the blue, Blizzard have now stated that their new “service” is now live. Blizzard have also created a new page explaining what will happen to your mounts, spells, reputation, items and more on their official site. Faction Change

The faction changing service is available for a ridiculous price of $30, included in the service will be the option to customize the character as well, but I don’t see how that makes the $30 price seem more worth it.

On Blizzard’s official site they have written up their own FAQ page for anyone who is unsure about what this service has to offer, as well as additional information.

Seeing as I don’t play World of Warcraft, nor do I understand the reason why so many players have become so addicted to the game, I’ll let the FAQ page speak for itself.

  1. 30$.. I’m still waiting to hear that Blizzard are now offering hair color picker for 60$. Seriously, most other MMO’s offer for free, what Blizzard charges tons of money for.

  2. i dont like the idea of “faction change”, i mean ally or horde is a big deal, kind of lame if people can just flop back and forth.

  3. Although I’m not a player of World of Warcraft, I share the same feelings as you, Karoken.

The Alliance vs Horde is a big part of the game, and it’s not really the same experience (I’m assuming) if players can just “switch” between factions.
