“Trailers, trailers, trailers…”
Blizzard’s new expansion pack for World of Warcraft entitled Cataclysm, was announced around a week ago, now, Blizzard have finally released a trailer for the expansion.
The video explains all the new features, including two new races, one race for the horde and one for the alliance.
As I am not a player of World of Warcraft, I’ll let the trailer speak for it self.
In other World of Warcraft trailers, they only ever showed stunning cinematics, and as stunning as they were, I was kind of curious as to why they didn’t show game play in their trailers, well for this expansion, they have finally decided to make the trailer all in- game footage (or at least most of it).

Do you like the changes made to the lands, for example, the fact that some places are now in half?
Blizzard have gone crazy if they think that releasing the same thing over and over with mashed up story is going to work. They have some idiotic fans, but that’s too much even for them. When will the finally update WoW graphically? It looks as it was released in 2001. Alot MMO’s have been released, some of which, much better than WoW. Not to mention of games like Aion and SW:Tor that are going to kill it completely. More and more fans are giving up on WoW, going to more serious MMORPG’s. And what do Blizzard do? Steal ideas..
Hmm, I see what you mean about the graphics, the ground is just a picture, and the graphics aren’t too great.
Its decent, by all means the cinematics from Blizzard have always been 10000000000x better then the game graphics. I think they can only do so much with the graphics as online play may suffer due to load? they do have the ability to make it better that’s for sure, but it might be a trade off due to technological boundaries of massive online play.
joedigital, please look at games like Guild Wars, Aion, or even Lineage 2. They have great graphics, and are greatly optimized. Not to mention Eve Online..
Blizzard really rocks cant questions the graphics. At the start of release of their games their products where the greatest starting with diablo 2.
Don’t make me laugh. Blizzard were never great and never will be. Their the most overhyped studio there is. The only thing that keeps them alive are their idiotic fans.
Blueheavens, what are you on about “can’t question the graphics”?
Of course you can question the graphics, they are quite poor if you ask me, and if you’re going to say the “Blizzard really rocks”, at least back it up, you sound like a fan boy, a hardcore fan boy…
Hi Joar thanks, I have played Eve online and guild wars, the graphics are great in those games.
Yeah, that’s what i’m talking about – Blizzard have no excuse not to update the graphics of WoW..
