Mass Effect Coming To The PS3?

“The reason why game developers shouldn’t bother making deals… apart from Bungie.”

It was about time people began to question the possibility of Mass Effect’s presence on the PS3. But instead of having nothing to back up their argument, BioWare’s CEO Ray Muzyka might of given it away, here’s the reason why people have began to believe so:

During an interview with BioWare’s CEO Ray Muzyka at Gamescom, he was questioned about why Mass Effect isn’t on the PS3, his response, “I think a more accurate way to frame it is to say we’ve announced we’re developing Mass Effect for 360 and PC. Right from the beginning we said we wanted to deliver Mass Effect on the 360. Right now all we’ve announced is we’re working on 360 and PC.”

So, is Mass Effect coming to the PS3? Think about it like this, if it wasn’t, Bioware would of said “no” when questioned, instead what he said was “Right now all we’ve announced is we’re working on 360 and PC.”

Make up your own decisions.

  1. Console exclusives are pointless. PS3 owners should get Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 as well. No reason that they shouldn’t, given that Bioware is owned by EA now.

  2. Yeah, EA bought Bioware and Pandemic a while back. That also got rid of Bioware’s exclusivity deal with Microsoft for Mass Effect.

However, they still haven’t announced ME2 for PS3. No clue why they wouldn’t, if they were planning on releasing it on PS3.

  3. Although Mass Effect is a couple years old, I’d play it again on PS3 if they added trophies. My 360 broke so I’ve been bummed I won’t be able to play Mass Effect 2…or will I? Hopefully.
