Sony is offering to compensate anyone who’s been saddled with a faulty copy of Bloodlines from the Playstation store.
“Yes, there was an issue with the original download,” a Sony spokesperson told Eurogamer. “It was pulled from the store and we are issuing replacement codes for those people who purchased the content before 12pm GMT on 20th November.”
A number of customers were angered after they were forced to buy the game for a second time when trying to update their faulty merchandise with a patched version of the game. The store treated the updated version as an entirely new purchase.
Some victims of the broken download claimed that Sony were impossible to contact and failed to acknowledge that the problem existed.
