WoW Lich King Patch Out Now

WoW Lich King Patch Out Now

Early today patch 3.3 was added to European World of Warcraft servers. The update saw the gates of the Ice Citadel open. The dungeon boss, Arthas, awaits any 10-25 player raids who are able to traverse the throne room.

Before facing the wrath of the Lich King, players will have to  defeat a series of other opponents — Bronjahm, Devourer of Souls, Forgemaster Garfrost, Ick and Krick, Scourgelord Tyrannus and Falric and Marwyn.

As well as this epic quest, there are also 3 new 5 man dungeons available in The Frozen Halls for players to enjoy.

“We are really pushing as hard as we can to deliver the most epic experience possible,” said lead content designer Cory Stockton on The WoW Website. “We know that our players have been waiting for this for a long time, and we plan to deliver. Everyone should expect to see this sort of storytelling and attention to detail in Cataclysm as well. I think we are always striving to pull the people who play our game into the storyline and really give them an explanation for why they’re there. It won’t be too long before they’ll get a chance to bring the pain to Deathwing!”

This may be the last update WoW players see until the Cataclysm expansion is released next year but who knows what else Blizzard has up their sleeves.
