Ubisoft have announced that they have plans to release a demo for the latest installment in the Splinter Cell series early next year.
Hiphopgamer confirmed that the demo will be set for a January release but an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
The story behind Splinter Cell: Conviction follows Sam Fisher as he smashes peoples faces against various inanimate objects, sneaking around and pulling of his usual fancy pants tricks as he attempts to reap revenge by tracking down his daughters killer. Adding a little twist, he’ll go about it without the usual hi-tech gadgets at his command.
The game will be released on both PC and Xbox 360. It is set for a US release of February 23 and a European release of February 26, 2010. The upcoming release has seen many lengthy delays, set for an original release date of May 2007.
It seems that we’re finally going to have a little taste of what Splinter Cell: Conviction has to offer.
